Web and GUI Design

>> As with all my projects, I work closely with my customers to understand the purpose behind the Website or graphic element and bring those ideas to life. Here are a few of my Websites. [Click here] to see some of my software interfaces:

The American Hungarian Federation: A non-profit, educational and charitable organization, AHF needed a site that was quick to load and emphasized the organization's latest news, events, and member information. I also designed the [Custom Logo], obtained a trademark and continue to manage their [Website]. Additional marketing materials included letterhead, notepads, lapel pins, banners [Posters, Medals, T-Shirts and Invitations] Devised name, designed custom logo, and motto, "Webenetics: The Science of Creative Information Engineering." In keeping with the science theme, I designed a DNA spiral-based figure with "e" head symbolizing electronic media and the company's software and Web-based work. I obtained a trademark on behalf of the organization.

Webenetics Corporation
Devised name, designed a [custom logo], and developed the motto, "Webenetics: The Science of Creative Information Engineering." The Law Offices of Steven C. Kahn - The customer wanted a professional, clean, uncluttered Website that emphasized his legal specialty. Although he wanted to use traditional elements from the legal profession, he also wanted a modern look and feel. I think the design struck a nice balance. I also designed the [custom logo]. The Truman House building was undergoing renovation and wanted to emphasize its new "hip" character and cool location in Washington, D.C. The owners wanted "information bubbles" to show off the property with a "funky" feel. I also [customized the logo].

>> I also develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for software. I am an expert in Human Computer Interaction, and my designs emphasize intuitiveness and user-friendliness, while still providing access to the software's features. Below are examples of such work with the United States Navy (NAVAIR) and the Webenetics Portal:

The NAVAIR Parts Life Managment System (PALMS): This custom software application tracks the flight-critical components for all rotary wing aircraft for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, enabling NAVAIR and NAWCAD to accurately and reliably ensure the safety of all rotorcraft in their fleets. I designed the skin emphasizing it purpose, but msot importantly, user friendliness.

The Webenetics Portal is a Web-based, modular suite of Business Applications. I developed the User Interface to reflect the company's desire for a modern, cutting edge look and feel. I also developed the product's [logo].
