The American Hungarian Federation is co-sponsoring the First Rajkó Ball The American Hungarian Federation is co-sponsoring the First Rajkó Ball to be held on February 20 at the Magyar Kultúra Alapítvány on Castle Hill in Budapest.

This star-studded charity event honors the world famous Rajkó Orchestra and Talentum Arts School. They have served as worldwide ambassadors for Hungarian and Gypsy music, dance, culture, and classical music in over 100 countries. Recently they performed in Rome for Pope Benedict and 80,000 people in St. Peter’s Square. A number of extraordinary Hungarian national award winning artists will perform at the ball.

Az Amerikaiak a Magyarokért Alapítvány ezen belül az Amerikai Magyar Klub egy összekötő híd szerepét tölti be a két ország között. A magyar származású és érzelmű amerikaiakat ösztönzi, hogy hozzák haza Magyarországra amerikai kapcsolataikat és támogatásukat, ami most rendkívül fontos és hasznos a magyar nép számára. Példát mutatva, mindent ami jó Amerikában- kultúrát, systémát, üzleti stratégiát- bemutatja itthon valamint a magyar értékek és amerikai piaci térhódítását, menedzselését is támogat.

Az Amerikaiak a Magyarokért Alapítvány kiemelkedő célkitűzése a jótékonysági célok megvalósítása. Ennek egyik programja a jotékonysági hagyományteremtő farsangi Bál megszervezése, ez pedig az I.Rajkó Bál. A világhírű 58 éves Rajkó zenekar példátlan értéket képvisel a zenei világban.

We Americans of Hungarian descent are justifiably proud of both countries’ rich heritage and their comittment to freedom, justice, and morality. Many of us, or our ancestors, emigrated from Hungary under dire circumstances, but were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity in America to become successful. We are interested in the country of our ancestry and would like to give something back to Hungary. The Amerikaiak a Magyarokért Alapitvány (a Foundation) and its Amerikai-Magyar Klub are being started to bring together the best resources of America and Hungary to improve relations between our two countries and to contribute to Hungary’s economic revival. Through networking, partnering, investments, cultural and knowledge exchange we will build a bridge between America and Hungary that will benefit both countries.

The Amerikai Magyar Klub and the 103 year old American Hungarian Federation cordially invite you to attend the first Rajkó Ball, a charity event honoring the world famous Rajko Orchestra and Talentum Arts School.
