Memorial Day in Arlington Cemetery

May 29th, Memorial Day 2006
Arlington National Cemetery, 4pm

The American Hungarian Federation cordially invites you to participate in a Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony honoring Hungarian American military heroes and the common bonds that have tied Hungarians and Americans together inextricably from the start.

Representatives from both the US and Hungarian military as well as Hungarian American leaders and the Ambassador and representatives from the Hungarian Embassy are expected to attend.

The program includes a roll-call of present and past Hungarian and American Military Veterans. Names of our deceased heroes will be included. If you have a loved one who served in the military, we want to know!

Where? At the Alexander Asboth gravesite (up the hill next to the Arlington House)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1) Transportation to the gravesite is available!

2) Current and ex-military are requested to identify themselves and to RSVP by calling Lt. Col. Steve Vekony at (301) 394-1144 or via email to bryandawson@americanhungarianfederation.org

3) Those authorized to wear uniforms are encouraged to wear Class A or Dress Blue.
